El Camino Del Rey

El Caminito del Rey (English: The King's little pathway) is a walkway or via ferrata, now fallen into disrepair, pinned along the steep walls of a narrow gorge in El Chorro, near Álora in the district of Málaga, Spain. The name is often shortened to Camino del Rey.
The walkway is one meter (3 feet and 3 inches) in width, and rises over 100 meters (350 feet) above the river below. It is currently in a highly deteriorated state and there are numerous sections where part of or the entire concrete top has collapsed away. The result is large open air gaps that are bridged only by narrow steel beams or other support fixtures. Very few of the original handrails exist but a Via ferrata safety-wire runs the length of the path.
Several people have lost their lives on the walkway in recent years and after two fatal accidents in 1999 and 2000,[2] the local government closed both entrances.

A non-Newtonian fluid is a fluid whose flow properties are not described by a single constant value of viscosity. Many polymer solutions and molten polymers are non-Newtonian fluids, as are many commonly found substances such as ketchup, starch suspensions, paint, blood and shampoo. In a Newtonian fluid, the relation between the shear stress and the strain rate is linear, the constant of proportionality being the coefficient of viscosity. In a non-Newtonian fluid, the relation between the shear stress and the strain rate is nonlinear, and can even be time-dependent. Therefore a constant coefficient of viscosity can not be defined. A ratio between shear stress and rate of strain (or shear-dependent viscosity) can be defined, this concept being more useful for fluids without time-dependent behavior. In this video they filled a pool with a mix of cornstarch and water made on a concrete mixer truck. It becomes a non-newtonian fluid. When stress is applied to the liquid it exhibits properties of a solid.

This is an advertisement for a weapon taken from the 2001 Catalogue for DSEi - the UK's largest arms fair. This particularly vicious air-bursting shell is designed to project shrapnel into the face of its target. Like a bad trailer for an all-action Hollywood movie, the voice-over tells us that "there is nowhere to run and nowhere to hide!" The computer graphics keep the viewer removed from the reality of the mutilation that the shell is designed to inflict. The DSEi arms fair is packed with thousands of such products on sale to repressive regimes from around the world. Shutting down DSEi is the aim of various campaigns including Disarm DSEi and the Campaign Against the Arms Trade.
